All-in-one video conferencing system with 4K Ultra HD camera, speakers and four-beam directional microphones.
Bose launches the VB-S Videobar. Encased in a sleek, discreet and compact design, the new USB All-in-One is designed to deliver a complete video conferencing experience for small meeting rooms and rooms as small as 3 x 3 metres. To do this, it combines a camera, wide field of view, and signature Bose sound, all together with easy startup, to the point of being able to configure it right before a meeting.
Latest technology
Specifically, the Bose Videobar VB-S features a 4K Ultra HD camera and four beam-guiding microphones that make conversation more natural by actively focusing on sounds. Likewise, exclusion zones help reject unwanted audio, while the automatic equalizer delivers enhanced audio for all participants, whether it’s used to meet up with co-workers, friends, or family. The goal is to achieve great performance without interference, which translates into a video conferencing experience that is so clear that it allows the environment in the room to be captured from anywhere in the world.
For its part, the company’s patented transducer delivers crisp, clear sound from a connected laptop or other Bluetooth wireless device for a satisfying audio experience. In addition, it connects to existing wireless network infrastructure, speeds up installation and troubleshooting, and enables remote monitoring, management, and upgrades.
Configuration and management
The Bose Videobar VB-S is easily configured with the Bose Work Configuration software, available as an app or via a web browser. Meanwhile, for remote management, making changes to one or more devices, or viewing device status, use Bose Work Management software. Likewise, the Bose Work mobile app enables real-time control from a smartphone, with easy volume and mute adjustments, pan/tilt/zoom, preset controls and Bluetooth pairing. Even with a Bluetooth connection, it’s possible to use it as a standalone hands-free speakerphone or to stream music.
Two ways, two possibilities
This advanced system also stands out in offering two modes: Group, which keeps everyone in the room visible and allows people in remote locations to better see and understand the conversation, whiteboard, flipchart, or other objects in the residence; and Single, which dynamically frames and follows the person speaking, making it ideal for teachers, training settings, and more.
Multiple video conferencing platforms
Added to all this is its compatibility with multiple platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc., which provides enhanced video and audio performance for the most popular unified communications platforms.
Finally, the Bose Videobar VB-S has USB Type-C connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and is accompanied by a table stand or wall-mount kit that makes meeting spaces organized and clutter-free, making installation as easy as possible. In addition, a screen-mount accessory is available (sold separately).
Bose Videobar VB-S: The price
